Esther Williams, an American swimming champion who became one of the most popular and profitable Hollywood movie stars of the 1940s and ’50s launched a successful swimwear line. With the help of James McFarlin who branded, photographed, and provided marketing support the line grew rapidly and is still going strong with new owners following her passing in 2013.
